Oman- Khimji Ramdas blood donation drive sees huge participation

To support the humanitarian cause and to raise public awareness on the importance of blood donation, KR has been conducting annual voluntary blood drives under the supervision of the Central Blood Bank of Oman and Ministry of Health.

The blood donation camp that was held recently witnessed the active participation of KR employees. Over the last eight years, more than 2400 pints of blood have been donated by the KR staff together with their friends and families who chose to step forward and donate blood.

Anil Khimji, director of KR said, ''We would once again like to express our appreciation and gratitude to all those who have come forward this year and over the past years to support the noble cause of blood donation during the holy month of Ramadan.''

Saving lives through blood donation is a principle that is strongly advocated and supported by every member of the KR family. Previous blood drives conducted by the KR Group have helped replenish and maintain crucial reserves that save scores of lives every day.
