(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, July 9 (Petra) -- Normal summer conditions are expected to continue till Monday with temperatures around their annual average and westerly to northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief said Saturday.
Summer conditions will prevail in the hilly areas, while it will be relatively hot in the Badia region and eastern plains and hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, JMD explained.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will range between a high of 32 degrees Celsius and a low of 21 degrees, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 41 degrees plunging to 30 at night .
