Saudi imports to be captured by five commodities at USD41.2bn


(MENAFN) Five commodities captured up 69 percent of Saudi imports whose value surpassed USD141.20bn by the end of 2015.

Furthermore, the commodities involved electric equipment, foodstuffs, transport equipment, ordinary metals and products and chemical products and plastics.

Meanwhile, electric devices and equipment ranked top of the Saudi imports at USD51.95bn, or 30 percent of the whole imports.

The US was the second biggest exporting nations to the Kingdom reaching USD22.37bn, whereas non-oil exports reached USD0.93bn.
