Electra Meccanica has its roots in the team behind Intermeccanica Custom Coach Builders which has been producing high-performance classic cars for decades.
In June at a test track in Pitt Meadows the Solo chassis was put through rigorous testing. Its strong but lightweight composite frame allowed the vehicle to reach a top-speed of 120 km/hr without compromising handling. It took just 8 seconds to reach 100 km/hr.
