Just two more days to go. ''Uncontrollably Fond,'' the much-awaited KBS Korean drama, is set for a July 6 premiere and it will occupy the 10pm slot.
After a spate of interesting teasers and picture promos, the news that Bae Suzy will be lending her voice to the drama has hiked anticipation.
Entitled ''Ring My Bell,'' a recently released OST music video includes footage of Suzy in the recording booth. It is being stated that ''Uncontrollably Fond'' could be the next ''Descendants of the Sun,'' the K-drama that became a super-hit earlier this year breaking viewership records. ''Doctors'' that was released two weeks ago and recorded the highest viewership ratings will face a major challenge in ''Uncontrollably Fond.''
Suzy will be starring alongside Kim Woo-bin in ''Uncontrollably Fond.''
Yonhap reported that “Uncontrollably Fond” will expose an assorted set of feelings that one can experience when in love-excitement, passion, maturity, loss and separation.
“Writer Lee Kyung-hee used to say that she wanted to write a story that compares love’s different feelings to the different features of the four seasons,” said producer Park Hyun-seok during a press conference in central Seoul.
“It is not about one side of love but all different kinds of feelings one can feel as love deepens,” he said. “In a word, I would say love equals salvation.”
As the premiere of the 20-part drama nears, anticipation has hit a high. But will it live up to the hype? Wait and watch.
