Egypt's account deficit doubles at USD14bn

(MENAFN) Egypt's recent account deficit doubled in the Jan-Sep period of 2015/16 to USD14bn from USD8bn in the same period of last year.

However, the country's economy is struggling to recover after a huge uprising in 2011, which drove tourists and foreign investors.

Accordingly, the deficit reached USD14bn in the cited period of the previous fiscal year, compared with USD8bn in 2015.

Furthermore, the country will announce its balance of payment figures for the cited period.
