Saudi's food imports to reach USD34.64bn by 2020


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia's food imports predicted to hit USD34.64bn by 2020 at an annual increase rate ranging between 7 and 8 percent.

Moreover, the fourth annual Saudi 'Foodex' Exhibition will take place at the Jeddah Center, which will host as many as 35 nations.

Additionally, the exhibition will provide the chance for those interested in distribution sector, retail and hospitality industries to setup new food products.

The fast-food market will also grow in value but up to USD4.53bn, with an increasing number of retail stores, rising to 50,000 stores in total.
