UAE- Hamdan bin Zayed receives outgoing Omani envoy

ABU DHABI, 3rd July, 2016 (WAM)--H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler''s Representative in the Western Region, received on Saturday at Al Nakheel Palace, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Ali Al Qatabi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the UAE, who called to mark the end of his tenure.

Sheikh Hamdan commended the efforts of Omani envoy on promotion of the fraternal ties between the two sisterly states in all fields, wishing him more successes in future tasks.

For his part, the Omani ambassador thanked the UAE officials in general and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in particular, for the fruitful cooperation, which had positive impact on the success of his mission in the country. He praised the wise policies of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and distinguished relations between the two countries and peoples.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Director of the East Asia and Pacific Department at the ministry, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Hazza bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Mohammed Hamdan bin Azzan Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Ruler''s Representative Court in the Western Region, Sultan bin Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Director of the Office of Ruler Representative in the Western Region, and Eisa Hamad Bu Shehab, Adviser to the President of the Emirates Red Crescent.
