Oman- PDC distributes Ramadan food boxes to the needy in Duqm

Port of Duqm Company (PDC) distributed food aids for Ramadan, expressing the company''s continuant faith of its humanitarian development role and its social responsibility in the country, especially at Duqm.

PDC aimed to serve the people of Duqm in the holy month in order to help the low-income people and social security families; this is to abide with the principles of Islam.

For the poor, these simple aids helps them endure the troubles of life and to deal with the requirements of the holy month.

Furthermore, Omani Women Association and voluntary work associations participated with PDC in this great initiative, as they helped deliver aids to people in all the villages in the state.

Some aids were distributed from the administrative office of the port where Ahmad bin Gomaa al Gnebi, a specialist of societies, delivered aids to the associations, which in turn distributed the same.

It is worth mentioning that PDC is always keen on participating in many social services.

Earlier, in association with the Economic Commission and Al Hud Corporation, PDC helped fulfill the needs of school students in Duqm.

The company believes that doing its duty towards the society will further guarantee the support of the entire society in reaching its targets, sending across the message of development and contributing in working towards its goals.
