Dodge supports Oman Fighting Championship's second edition

The second edition of the Oman Fighting Championship (OFC) - ''The Next Generation'' took place at the Bahja hall in Qurm recently, with the support of Dodge.

The championship saw fierce competition amongst the who''s who of the local fighting scene in the sultanate and was a resounding success.

Over 500 spectators attended the event. Sanctioned by the World Kickboxing Federation, ''OFC 2 - The Next Generation'', continued to be an exciting platform for local fighters and martial artists to showcase their talents.

In order to ensure that the event complied with international standards and provided unbiased judging and refereeing, officials from the World Kickboxing Federation also attended the event.

Reza Mostofi, managing director at The Agency Design and Promo Works, and the vice president of the OFC said, ''After the success of ''OFC 1 - Rise of the Champions'' last year, we have witnessed a tremendous growth potential in the MMA scene in Oman - right from the opening of new MMA clubs to receiving numerous emails from mixed martial artists from across the GCC wanting to compete in the OFC.''

He added, ''With the success of this year''s championship and the support garnered from fans and Dodge in Oman, we look forward to organising OFC 3, with the prime goal of making it and each future event more exciting while encouraging the MMA sport in Oman.''
