UAE- UAQ Ruler hails Ramadan majlises in promoting cohesion and social communication

UMM AL QAIWAIN, 1st July, 2016 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu''alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, commended the role played by the Ramadan majlises (courts) in the UAE in general and Umm Al Qaiwain in particular, as they promote cohesion and social communication among all components of the society.

He added that Ramadan majlises also discuss issues related to the homeland and citizens.

Sheikh Saud made the remarks while visiting, along with H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu''alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain, majlis of the late Khalfan Salem Al Ghafli at Falaj Al Mua''lla.

The UAQ Ruler exchanged greetings with the attendees on the holy month of Ramadan. The visit is in line with Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain''s keenness on meeting with Emiratis, communicating and exchanging views with them on issues of interest.

A number of Sheikhs, officials and tribal dignitaries attended the meeting.
