Iran pursues radical strategy to revive bitumen market

(MENAFN) Iran is currently looking for new markets in Central Asia to export bitumen, as it has been troubled recently with its top receiving markets.

The Republic has endured major losses in its Chinese and Vietnamese markets due to frauds and low-quality bitumen export throughout recent years.

The Persian Gulf nation produced 4.5 million tons of bitumen, of which 2.6 million tons were exported during the last Iranian year, ended on March-21, 2015.

Moreover, the Republic is seeking all potential tactics to come up with an active strategy which will regain its credit and reputation in global bitumen markets.
