UAE Embassy distributes Zakat al-Fitr and Eid clothing in Thailand

BANGKOK, 30th June, 2016 (WAM) -- The UAE Embassy in Thailand has overseen the distribution of Zakat al-Fitr money and Eid clothing to underprivileged people in Thailand.

The aid was distributed in cooperation with local humanitarian charities and institutions, and in coordination with the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, Emirates Red Crescent, Dar Al Ber Society, and Sharjah Charity.

The provision of Zakat al-Fitr money and Eid clothing is part of the Iftar Project and charitable activities being carried out by the UAE Embassy during the Holy Month of Ramadan to help poor Muslim communities in a number of provinces in Thailand.
