UAE Ambassador in Pakistan participates in distribution of aid in Lahore

ISLAMABAD, 30th June, 2016 (WAM) -- Essa Abdulla Al Basha Al Noaimi, the UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, yesterday took part in the distribution of aid to underprivileged people in the city of Lahore, as part of the embassy''s Ramadan charity projects across Pakistan.

The aid was distributed in the Sheikh Zayed Hospital and the Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre, with the follow-up of the embassy.

Since the onset of the Holy Month of Ramadan, the embassy has been involved in the provision of aid donated by UAE-based charities such as the Emirates Red Crescent and the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, including setting up daily Iftar meals for hundreds of people who are fasting, as well as other food and Ramadan aid.
