(MENAFN) S. Korea's industrial output recovered in May, marking two straight months of on-year decline on the back on increased production in ships and petroleum products.
Meanwhile, production in the mining, manufacturing, gas and electricity industries grew 4.3 percent last month from a year ago.
Additionally, production in the service sector also increased by 3.4 percent from a year earlier and jumped up 0.1 percent on-month.
Moreover, output also climbed by 4.8 percent on-year in the cited month and jumped to a 15 month high of 1.7 percent.
