Germany to boost investment in Greece

(MENAFN) Germany is planning on a three-day trip to Greece, where it is expected to concentrate on boosting mutual trade and investment relations amid the fallout from Brexit.

Furthermore, tourism has been one of the positive spots of the Greek economy and a notable proportion of the tourists visiting the country are from Britain.

However, the Brexit vote and the drop in the value of the pound could cut the number of British tourist arrivals to Greece, which will hurt the Greek tourism sector.

In addition, Germany is one of the main investors in the southern European nation, with almost 120 German firms operating there and employing around 39,000 Greeks.
