Egypt's non-petroleum exports post USD8.4bn


(MENAFN) Egyptian non-petroleum exports increased to USD8.4bn among the first five months of this year, marking 3 percent growth.

Accordingly, the country's exports to EU states registered almost USD2.2bn in Jan-May 2016 against USD2.02bn a year earlier.

Meanwhile, Egypt's exports to Arab states touched almost USD3.8bn at the end of May 2016 against USD3.5bn in May 2015.

Egypt ministry plans to boost its non-petroleum exports succeeded, while leading all export sectors to revive.
