Oman- MoT staff briefed about Diar Ras al Hadd project

The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) recently held a presentation to showcase the latest project in Ras al Hadd.

The Diar Ras al Hadd project was presented to the employees of the tourism department in South Sharqiyah by Eng Muhammed al Ghanboosi, representative of the Qatari company Diar.

Eng Ghanboosi gave the MoT employees a brief on the project and the opportunities it presents as well the environmental and scientific aspects that the project will bring.

Representatives from different municipal offices such as the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs and Sur Municipality were also present and will be lending their support in facilitating the needs of the project.

The project will be a partnership between the Omani company Omran and the Qatari company Diar and will develop the Ras al Hadd area to be an integrated tourism cluster that houses all the facilities and attractions tourists seek to enjoy. The project will house different hotels and accommodation units, parks and environmental decks as well as other attractions, making the project an all-inclusive touristic destination.

This will be the first project of its kind to be developed in the Sharqiyah region, which will provide numerous employment opportunities for the residents of the area as well as attract tourists that will help enrich the local economy.
