Oman- Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah gears up for khareef season

Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah, a lush green five-star hotel, is all geared for the upcoming khareef season from July to September, which is a key driver of tourism in Oman.

Anticipating a rise in the number of tourists bound for the governorate of Dhofar, the resort offers visitors an all-encompassing leisure experience that combines local culture with world-class hospitality synonymous with the Crowne Plaza brand.

This summer, visitors will also be able to enjoy the annual khareef festival, which runs from July to September and provides entertainment including traditional folklore, dancing and fashion shows.

With the early arrival of the monsoon this year, visitors can enjoy the pleasant climate of around 20 degrees,'' said Manuel Levonian, general manager.

In its preparation for the khareef season, Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah has made elaborate changes to their food menu to suit the palate of the GCC guests.

Levonian added, "This year, the resort has created additional oceanfront features including large tents with private seating and live entertainment to allow our guests to be delighted in the cool weather and sunset views amidst the uniquely lush and private tropical gardens of 42 acres."
