Kuwait- KRCS continues delivering aid to Syrian refugees in Lebanon


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, June 28 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) is continuing to deliver humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees in Lebanon during the holy month of Ramadan.

KRCS teams have delivered 250 pieces of Eid clothes (Kiswat Al-Eid in Arabic) to refugees in Zahla area, eastern Lebanon, in addition to 250 food packages and 250 cleaning materials to refugees in Shabaa area, southeastern Lebanon, Nabil Al-Hafedh, head of KRCS mission to Lebanon, stated to KUNA Tuesday.

The Kuwaiti society also delivered 250 food packages and 250 cleaning materials to Syrian refugees in Qarqaf town Akkar district, northern Lebanon, Al-Hafedh noted.

Out of strong keenness in joining Syrian brothers and sisters in their fasting during the holy month of Ramadan, KRCS has delivered breakfast meals to refugees in Sidon, Zahla, and Akkar areas, he said.

Al-Hafedh also reiterated KRCS'' commitment to continue providing necessary humanitarian and relief aid to Syrian refugees out of faith of Kuwait''s humanitarian message in supporting the needy. (end) ayb.ma
