N. Korea's auto industry gets devastating ban

(MENAFN) A new round of prohibitions which were just approved by the Congress could most likely deliver a new vicious setback to North Korean automakers, according to the latest reports.

The sanctions aims at industries outside of North Korea engaging in business there, limiting them from making transactions with American banks or from conducting business on American soil.

However, The Asian outcast's auto production has grew to nearly 10,000 units a year, putting the overall number of vehicles on the road in the nation of 30 million people to around 1 million.

The harsh bans are a response to a January nuclear test identified within the country with local media calling it a satellite launch, but believed to be a labeled cover for a long-range missile test.
