Eight people wounded in Qaa blasts NE Lebanon - Red Cross


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, June 27 (KUNA) -- Eight people were wounded by the four suicide explosions that took place in Qaa town of Beqaa Governorate, northeastern Lebanon, official media reported Monday.

The victims sustained minor wounds and were all taken to the town''s hospitals for treatment, Georges Kettaneh, Secretary-General of Lebanese Red Cross, stated, according to National News Agency (NNA).

Meanwhile, Baalbek-Hermel Governor Bachir Khodr announced a curfew imposition against Syrian refugees residing in Qaa and Ras Baalbek in the wake of the continued explosions in the town near the Syrian borders.

Earlier, four suicide bombers blew themselves up in the vicinity of a church in Qaa village, killing five civilians, Bachir Matar, head of Qaa municipality, stated, describing the situation as "extremely dangerous." (pickup previous) wsm.ma
