Jordan, the Philippines sign agreement on cultural cooperation


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, June 27 (Petra) -- Jordan and the Philippines, on Monday, signed a memorandum of understanding to boost cultural ties between the two countries.

Minister of Culture, Adel Tweisi, who inked the agreement along with Ambassador of the Philippines in Amman, Junever M. Mahilum-West, said the deal aims at enhancing cultural relations between the Kingdom and Southeast Asian nation an exchanging expertise in various domains.

The deal would see both sides organizing cultural activities and events here in Jordan and there in the Philippines.
