Hilton, Secon agree on deal for hotel in Egypt


(MENAFN) The Saudi-Egyptian Construction Company (Secon) has inked a pact with international hotel group Hilton Worldwide for a four-star hotel in New Damietta, Egypt, said a report.

In detail, the new hotel will be part of Secon's tourism residential project which holds overall investments of nearly USD13.3 million, the Daily News Egypt reported.

Moreover, the major project will spread on an area of 17.7 acres, of which the hotel covers 8,800-sq-m, with a capacity of 130 rooms and suites.

"The company plans to inaugurate the hotel in mid-2018, and we selected Hilton to ensure the management of the project in accordance with international hotel standards," Secon's CEO said.
