Halal tourism to enhance Oman's prospects


(MENAFN) Oman will do well by improving halal tourism, while in 2015 it initiated a number of development projects at different destinations in addition to building infrastructure.

Accordingly, the Sultanate has tourism potential that is different from Malaysia, Dubai and Thailand, and hotel prices suit all people they range from USD51.79mn to USD647.48mn.

However, four and five star hotels in Oman are expensive, whereas the number of rooms are not enough compared to those in Malaysia, Dubai and Thailand.

Meanwhile, the surrounding sea can be used for dive tourism and fishing excursions and it also offers Oman a special chance to develop tourism.
