Jordan- Drop in temperatures forecast till Wednesday


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, June 27 (Petra) -- A slight drop in temperatures is expected Monday and Tuesday, but it will remain relatively hot in the hilly areas and hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said in its daily brief.

Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk blowing dust mainly in the eastern and southern regions, the JMD added.

A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Wednesday, but similar weather conditions will continue across the country, it added.

Daytime temperatures forecast in Amman for today will range between a high of 33 degrees Celsius and a low of 19 degrees at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 41 degrees plunging to 26 at night.
