Arab Parliament Speaker demands end to 'Israeli terrorism'

CAIRO, 25th June 2016 (WAM) --- Speaker of the Arab Parliament, an affiliate of the Arab League, on Saturday demanded the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the world''s parliaments address, immediately and in a serious manner, what he called "Israel''s terrorist calls" to kill Palestinians.

Al Jarwan said the chairman of the Council of Rabbis in the West Bank settlements recently urged Israeli settlers to poison the water used by Palestinians in the West Bank in order to kill them.

In a statement, Al Jarwan said such racist rulings incite hate and urge the mass murder of people because of their religion and race.

He also decried the international community''s inaction against this Israeli ruling which he described as a continuation of Israel''s settlement policies aimed at forcing Palestinians from of their land
