(MENAFN) The Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) College of Engineering said it's currently working on a new solar project.
In detail, the USD559 thousand project is expected to generate electricity with the help of solar panels, said a local report.
Consequently, the panels aim to generate 290 (MW/h) of electricity with the help of 675 solar panels, the report added.
Furthermore, the project is being funded by Jacobs International to find alternative energy sources that push the economy forward.
