Saudi, Turkish FMs discuss ME issues

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ISTANBUL, June 26 (KUNA) -- Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and Saudi counterpart Adel Al-Jubeir discussed late Saturday urgent issues pertaining to the Middle East region, said a statement Sunday.
During their phone conversation, the two top officials touched on matters of mutual concerns as well as preparations for the fifth ministerial strategic meeting between the GCC and Turkey, said the Foreign Ministry.
The GCC-Turkish meeting is yet to be scheduled, added the statement. (end) ta.gta
