Indian Social Club Salalah celebrates International Yoga Day

Indian Social Club, Salalah celebrated the second International Yoga Day in association with Art of Living, Salalah. There were two sessions, one in the morning and one in the evening.

The morning session was especially arranged for the officers of INS Sharda from 8.30am to 9.30am.

Manpreet Singh, chairman, Indian Social Club, Salalah inaugurated both sessions. Shri Kumar of Art of Living welcomed the participants. Singh presented a memento to Lt Commander Sumit Malik of INS Sharda.

The second session was held in the evening for the Indian community from 8pm to 9.30pm. Around 200 people participated in the morning and evening sessions.

Last year, around 100 people participated in the event; this year, a 100 percent increase in participation was noted.

Singh gave away mementoes to Ravi and Cyril, the Yoga teachers from Art of Living.
