Kuwait oil price falls to USD 44.55 pb

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 24 (KUNA) -- Price of the Kuwait crude oil dropped 41 cents to USD 44.55 pb on Thursday compared to USD 44.96 per barrel in trades on Wednesday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said on Friday.
In international markets, the crude prices fell six percent after Britons voted "yes" for exiting the European Union, in a dramatic event that sent shockwaves across Europe rattling the markets and boosting morale of the euro skeptics.
The Brent blend for forwards dropped USD 2.7 to USD 48.21 per barrel, while the American crude decreased USD 2.65 to USD 47.46 pb. (end) ht.ysa.rk
