Qatar- MoI issues road safety tips


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) DOHA: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has issued road safety tips for motorists to be followed during Ramadan to avoid last minute rushing for Iftar.

Avoid driving if you’re tired or drowsy, and to be patient and cooperate with other motorists, road users and security people, MoI said on its official Facebook account.

Avoid random parking in front of Masjids and other public places creating traffic block and closing way in front of others.

Some of the important road safety tips in Ramadan are : Fastening your seat belt, not engaging with mobile devices, sticking to speed limit, keeping lane discipline, slowing down while approaching crosswalks, leaving safe distance between vehicles are important in ensuring road safety.
