Morocco's Prince Moulay Rachid Welcomes Baby Boy


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Prince Moulay Rachid has welcomed a baby boy that HM King Mohammed VI has baptized HH Prince Moulay Ahmed, the ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announced Thursday.

On this happy occasion, the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery presents its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to HM King Mohammed VI, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, his Spouse Lalla Oum Kaltoum and all members of the illustrious royal family, the ministry said in a statement read by Abdelhak Lamrini, Spokesman of the royal palace.

Prince Moulay Rachid, brother of King Mohammed VI, got married with Miss Oum Keltoum Boufares in June 2014.

Oum Keltoum Boufares is the daughter of Mamoun Boufares who was the governor of Marrakech when King Mohammed VI ascended the throne in July 1999.

Moulay Mamoum Boufares, is the son of Princess Lalla Khadija, daughter of Sultan Moulay Youssef, who is the father of the late king Mohammed V, the grandfather of King Mohammed VI.
