(MENAFN- AFP) London's main stock index closed over one percent higher Thursday as investors bet on Britain voting to remain in the EU in a key referendum.
The FTSE-100 index stood 1.23 percent firmer at 6,338.1 at the close, with referendum results expected before the market reopens on Friday.
