Sharing the load: New Ford Trucks series to hit Qatar

DOHA: The new Ford Trucks series that stand out with power, efficiency and technology features, and equipped with new E3 engine will soon conquer the roads in Qatar and in the international markets with the new brand slogan “Sharing the load”.

The new Ford Trucks series offers a range of power options from 330 to 430 PS with E3 emission. Equipped with Ecotorq engines that deliver 8.5% better fuel economy compared to previous versions, the new Ford Trucks series reaches the most competitive fuel consumption values in the segment according to tests conducted by independent bodies, while the increase in torque and power ensures higher performance under all conditions.

In addition to the new engine specifications, the new Ford Trucks Series also features an aerodynamic structure created in line with the Ford Kinetic Design philosophy, to the new transport series.

The new Ford Trucks series continues to save after purchase, offering a competitive advantage with 25% reduced maintenance costs. The service periods extended up to 600 hours offered for the Tractor and Construction series will allow the customers to have the most competitive maintenance advantage in the logistics and construction sectors.

Ford Trucks Construction Series powered by the New Ecotorq engine offers comfort for drivers with exceptional traction uphill and on rough terrains. The Construction Series now delivers 420 PS instead of the 360 PS of the previous generation, as well as better performance in demanding site conditions with 55% increase resulting in 2150Nm torque value. While climbing the steep slopes encountered especially in earthmoving and cutting sites with high torque, the new 400 KW engine brake keeps the power continually under control. The optional 600 KW Intarder option offered for even rougher conditions brings the total braking capability to 1000 KW.
