Bahrain condemns terrorist attack in Jordan

MANAMA, 21st June, 2016 (WAM) -- Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned today''s terrorist attack which targeted a military site serving refugees on the north-eastern border of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, leading to the martyrdom and injury of a number of members of the Jordan Armed Forces.

According to BNA, the Ministry expressed its heartfelt condolences and consolation to the families and relatives of the martyrs and its wishes for speedy recovery of those who were injured in this terrorist act which is alien to all religions and contrary to all human values.

It affirms its full solidarity with Jordan in confronting violence and terrorism, reiterating its unwavering position in renunciation of terrorism of all forms, regardless of the motives or justifications, and calling for a common stand to counter this dangerous phenomenon.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also urged concerted joint efforts to eliminate all the dangerous terrorist organisations that pose threats to world states'' security and stability.
