Qatar's GDP will increase by 3.9 percent

(MENAFN) Qatar's economy is predicted to be higher than last year as GDP growth is forecasted to be 3.9 percent this year.

Additionally, the country's real GDP growth will average to 3.6 percent among 2016-2018, on the back of expansion in the non-hydrocarbon economy.

However, despite low oil prices, real economic growth this year is expected to increase to 3.9 percent.

Meanwhile, inflation in 2016 is predicted to moderately pick up to 3.4 percent following fast acceleration observed in Jan-April.
