Tunisia's tourism revenues fall by 44.6 percent


(MENAFN) The tourism sector is facing some issues to recover after the 2015 terreorist attacks in the country.

Moreover, tourism foreign exchange earnings have declined by 44.6 percent between 2015 and 2016.

Meanwhile, for the Jan-May period of this year, inflow of non-residents didn't exceed 1.190mn people, while European inflow posted only 303.3 thousands.

Difficulties continue with the European markets, which are dropping,
affecting hotels and causing tourism revenues to plummet.
