(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ABU DHABI, June 16 (KUNA) -- The UAE has reiterated its full support of all measures taken by Bahrain to protect its security and stability, and safety of its citizens, official media reported Thursday.

UAE backs Bahrain in all its actions aimed at combating extremism and terrorism in its all forms and manifestations, Foreign Minister Dr. Anwar Gargash said in a statement, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).

"It condemns all attempts of groups associated with a foreign agenda to destabilize the security and stability of communities in Bahrain, as well as provoke discord and disruption of the Kingdom''s national unity and security," Gargash added.

He also said that the national open and constructive approach of Bahrain''s King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa of Bahrain represents national and enhanced approach that embraces the country''s future and prosperity. (end) bs.ma
