Doha: Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Qatar’s leading Islamic Bank, organised a Ghabga banquet for its employees and their families.
The event took place at the Ramadan tent at the Four Seasons Doha Hotel, and was attended by Bassel Gamal, CEO, QIB Group, and the bank’s executive management team and Guest of Honour Sheikh Sulaiman Al Jubailan.
The event, a regular feature of QIB’s calendar, aims to celebrate Ramadan traditions and strengthen relations and understanding of the true spirit of the Holy Month.
Gamal, said: “We are delighted to have hosted our annual Ghabga, which has become a key event in our calendar. QIB organised it as part of efforts to enhance social and entertainment activities for its employees.
“I would like to thank all employees and their families for participation in the event and contribution to making it a success,” he added.
Sheikh Sulaiman stressed the importance of respecting Islamic values that call for amity and love and elevate humanity, offering real-life examples from his experience.
The evening also featured an interactive question-answer session followed by a raffle draw and prizes for kids.
