Egypt's chemical exports fall by 10 percent


(MENAFN) Egyptian chemical exports dropped by 10 percent during the first quarter of this year to stand at USD 25.5mn versus USD 28.41mn in 2015.

Accordingly, ten companies seized 96.6 percent of the whole exports with USD 24.62mn in Jan-March 2016.

Egyptian Linear Alkyl Benzene Co. was the main exporter of chemical products with exports estimated at USD 21.6mn, capturing almost 88 percent.

In addition, almost 10 states captured 89.4 percent of Egypt's chemical exports in the cited period of this year with almost USD 22.79mn.
