UAE- ADM concludes campaign to clean East Al Qurm Beach

ABU DHABI, 16th June, 2016 (WAM) -- The Abu Dhabi City Municipality, ADM, in collaboration with Tadweer and Yas Viceroy Hotel, has held a campaign to clean East Al Qurm Beach, Abu Dhabi. About 50 individuals, including Municipality staff, took part in the efforts aimed at clearing waste and rubbish left along the stretch of beach.

This campaign is part of the commitment of the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport and the Abu Dhabi City Municipality to provide clean beaches of world-class standards. In the meantime, the campaign also aimed to preserve the maritime environment and clearing waste, maintaining the civilised appearance of Abu Dhabi beaches, diffusing the culture of social responsibility, and stepping up cooperation with partners in conserving the environment and maintaining the outlook of the city.

The Municipality capitalised on this campaign to instill the positive values, enhance the partnership and social responsibility, and ensure a clean and healthy environment of beaches across Abu Dhabi.
