(MENAFN- Arab Times) Major General Talal Ma'arafi, Director General of the Residence Affairs Department at the Ministry of Interior said the Assistant Undersecretary for Passports and Nationality Affairs, Major- General Mazen Al-Jarrah has given instructions that each Kuwaiti family can sponsor only one Bangladeshi house help provided the family meets the conditions, reports Al-Anba daily.
Ma'arafi added the family should not exceed the number of domestic helpers under their sponsorship, provide accommodation and the person to be employed must have a clean record.
Ma'arafi also said strict measures were taken this year for issuing visit visas. No visas were issued to people with marginal professions to reduce the phenomenon of begging.
