Oman Avenues Mall names grand prize winner

Running from May 131, customers who simply spent RO15 or more could participate in the draw to win the dream car Mercedes SLK AMG.

Customers who shop on weekdays also got a double chance to win the luxury car.

On June 1, the name of Areej Ahmed Salim Faraj was drawn from the barrel and announced as the winner.

Once notified of the draw, her elated father Ahmed said, ''This cannot be true, I must be dreaming.''

The Mercedes and the key were presented to Areej and her family on Thursday at 9pm.

Areej is 7 years old and studies at Qurum Private school.

She has many friends and loves to draw.

Her father added, ''Areej has always been lucky.''

Additionally, during the month of May RO1,000 in retailer gift vouchers were given away every weekday to 23 lucky winners, with the amount totaling to RO23,000.
