Jordan condemns terrorist attack in Paris
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, June 14 (Petra) -- Jordan condemned on Tuesday the terrorist attack that took place in a Paris suburb late Monday, claiming the lives of a French police chief and his partner.
State Minister for Media Affairs and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani voiced Jordan ''s support to the French government in facing terrorism and extremism.
He reiterated Jordan ''s stance that calls for intensifying international efforts within a holistic approach to deal with terrorism as a major threat to global security.
The attacker pledged allegiance to the Daesh terrorist group before he was shot dead by an elite police unit, according to the Agence France-Presse.
