Qatar- Katara begins workshops for kids


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The Cultural Village Foundation-Katara yesterday began multi-activity workshops for children under the theme ‘Human Creation in the Holy Quran’.

The workshops started with Shams Generation (Generation of the Sun) in Building No. 19 and will be held from 8pm to 10pm to provide children with a glimpse on how to create a lantern using solar kit and recycled materials. Children keen to create hand sculptures with wax can visit Katara and have the chance to place their hand prints on a panel at Building No. 13.

Besides workshops during Ramadan, Katara will entertain visitors on Garangao night, with celebrations, gifts and giveaways for children on pathways on the 14th of Ramadan. Ramadan events will continue with the firing of the Iftar cannon and Al Mesahar daily. In addition, Islamic lectures, interactive workshops and informative exhibitions also be held.
