Qatar- Temporary petrol station planned

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) DOHA: A new temporary petrol station will be set up soon in Al Gharafa, Central Municipal Council Member Mubarak Fraish said yesterday.

He said the station will be set up north of Al Gharafa Stadium, over an area of 1,500 square metres. Fraish said he coordinated with Woqod and expected it to be ready before Eid Al Fitr. The petrol station will be open to only small vehicles and trucks will be banned as it will be in a residential area.

Two petrol stations have been closed down in the past two years in Al Gharafa — one due to development projects and the other did not meet specifications.
