UAE- Nasa chief visits Yahsat headquarters


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Al Yah Satellite Communications Company, the UAE-based satellite operator known as Yahsat, welcomed Maj-Gen Charles Frank Bolden Jr and a delegation from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration at its Abu Dhabi headquarters.

The Nasa administrator, who leads a nationwide team for the US space programme, was hosted by Yahsat chiefs led by chairman Jassem Al Zaabi, board member Tareq Al Hosani and chief executive officer Masood M. Sharif Mahmood.

The visit included a tour of Yahsat''s state-of-the-art facilities featuring the Satellite and Payload Operations Centre and the Antenna Farm.
