Jeddah, 08 Ramadan,1437 AH, 13 June,2016 , SPA -- The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Iyad bin Amin Madani received here yesterday the Director General of Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) Dr. Abdulaziz bin Othman Altwaijri.
The two sides discussed the topics concerning with education, science, culture and communication in the framework of strengthening integration and coordination between specialized institutions emanating from the Islamic Cooperation Conference and ISESCO General Secretariat.
The OIC Secretary General commended the pivotal role being played by ISESCO to strengthen cultural and educational aspects in the Islamic world, stressing the need to make use of scientific knowledge of the ISESCO.
For his part, Dr Altwaijri confirmed ISESCO''s commitment to the decisions emanating from the summits, all Islamic ministerial conferences and related fields of work, indicating ISESCO''s readiness for further consultation and cooperation with the General Secretariat in various cultural and educational fields.
