UAE Q1 gov't revenues surpass USD 544mn


(MENAFN) Government revenue collected through the e-Dirham initiative in the UAE stood at more than USD 544mn in Q1 of this year, up 4.2 percent from earlier period.

Accordingly, the number of service transactions carried through e-Dirham increased by 10.7 percent to almost USD 2.74mn.

Additionally, the figures point to the growing popularity of the e-Dirham system is becoming the ideal mode of payment of individuals.

Meanwhile, all payment receipts through the e-Dirham system grew by 24 percent for the cited quarter of this year.
